Description

The Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc white wine is a blend of several different vineyards from some of the most sought-after areas in Napa Valley. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are harvested at their peak of ripeness and fermented in stainless steel and neutral French oak barrels to highlight the natural acidity and vibrancy while remaining classily balanced.

Freemark Abbey Wilson Ranch–St. Helena

Rich clay loam adjacent to the Napa River.

Oakville Vineyard–Oakville

Predominantly a rich clay loam that supports healthy vineyards. This vineyard is home to the Semillon component of the blend.

Yount Mill Vineyard–Yountville

An organically farmed vineyard located in the heart of the Yountville Appellation, west of the Napa River. The soil is a rich clay loam, producing grapes with typical varietal character flavors of honeydew melon with some citrus notes, lemon grass and a sweet nuance of fresh cut grass.

Trubody Vineyard–Yountville

This vineyard is our southernmost of the group in Yountville located near the Napa River. It is the source of our Sauvignon Blanc musque clone that has floral, tropical fruit and citrus notes.
